 El seleccionado argentino masculino de hockey sobre césped sufrió su sexta caída consecutiva en su gira por Oceanía al caer ante Australia "A" por 3-1.
El segundo equipo australiano tomó ventajas con goles de Chris Bausor, Aran Zalewski y Tom Wichkam, mientras que los dirigidos por Pablo Lombi descontaron a través de Agustín Mazzilli. En el otro partido de la doble jornada desarrollada en Perth, Australia, el seleccionado local derrotó a Holanda por 1-0 con gol de Rob Hammond. Ambos, junto a Alemania, son los grandes candidatos a quedarse con la medalla de oro en los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres. Mañana por la noche, Argentina cerrará la gira enfrentando a Australia.
